In 2022 I was part of the facial modelling team at Blur Studio who created the characters for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. I was responsible for creating the facial shapes for Soap and Hassan; the protagonist and the main villain from the game.
The game’s campaign follows Task Force 141, a multinational special forces unit commanded by Captain Soap MacTavish as they hunt Vladimir Makarov, leader of the Russian Ultranationalist party, and United States Army Rangers from the 1st Ranger Battalion who are defending the Washington, D.C. area from a Russian invasion.
It was great to work on such a well recognised project knowing that it would be viewed by so many people. I hope those of you who played the game enjoyed it!
